So after owning a Seiko 007, 009 and 7002 watches these are very similer in design but have different features or movement , I wanted a Quartz divers same design just Quartz movement a pick up and go , after a conversation a fair while ago Domecurb came up trumps and the Seiko 7548-7000 has a firm position still in my collection
So the Seiko 7548-7000 was seikos first attempt at a Quartz powered dive watch
Adapted by the 6309 platform , it soon became a massive hit and was nicknamed many years later the Seiko desert storm
General Norman scharwzkopf commander of operations desert storm , was wearing a Seiko 7548 when he led one of the strongest military forces in history to kick Iraq soldiers out the Kuwait in 1991 , in 1999 Norman donated the watch for a charity auction under the auction name desert storm and it raised usd 11,000
Mines not a minter but it's a wearer I fitted it on a jubilee and it's a great alround pick up and and go watch I would pick this over any 007 or 009 just becouse of its Seiko heritage and history
