Review of the orient quartz divers Empty Review of the orient quartz divers

Post by Iceblue Fri Dec 02 2016, 20:30

So I have not really done one of these properly before so let's give it a try

So today I am going to review on the orient divers Quartz

    Orient divers Quartz
    D39747-90 ca
    Quartz movement d3911 orient
    4 o'clock crown
    Anti clockwise bezel
    20 mm lugs
    42 case with crown
    Stainless steel case
    Water resistant 20 bar

Over all I like this watch and it's different to the normal if you compare it to the seiko 7548 Quartz Your not getting the history and the big name behind the watch , but you are getting a watch that's stands side by side in looks and you get a lot for the money you would spend , a rarer more sort after watch that deserves its place as a retro/vintage sub divers and gives the seiko a run for its money , the only down side would be parts but apart from that a great watch ⌚️
I own both mentioned watches and at present the orient take priority when it comes to wrist time

Interesting write up, thanks. Review of the orient quartz divers 3377044411

I know very little about these types of watches and am fascinated that there is very little difference in design between the Orient and the Seiko.

Are the qualities of the movements / cases etc equally on a par?

The seiko movements are Quartz and you can get parts and movements still , but the orient is a Quartz rare little movement I have two in the resto watch box that needs movement and they are very hard to come by
