Thanks
its not cheap Robert, i have done loads of 007 mods and i think the dearest, when you counted in the cost of the watch, hit well over £200.
just roughly:
sapphire crystal £30 ish
dial £30 ish
hands £20 ish
chapter ring £15 ish
Bezel insert £20 ish
i also changed the movements from 7s26 to NH36 which added another £38, the advantage being it was a more modern movement that can be hand wound and hacked, visualy the movements are identical, but the NH series have diferent balance spring alloy and a different main spring alloy for more accuracy and longer power reserve.
obviously you can get cheaper parts, but you can also get dearer parts.
i have used this seller:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/dr.seikostain/m.html?item=301834340646&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562his products and customer service are second to none and as you will see from his products ...you can go a lot further than what i have listed above with new case backs and bezels etc
have fun on yet another watch related slippery slope
this was the last one i made, new case, crystal, bezell, insert, dial, hands, movement etc
