So all going well the pulsar should be salvageable and I will update the forum on my step by step mod as it takes place , the only thing that will let me down is if the pulsar is faulty as I have taken a punt on it , I hope to give it a good go and do a few thing different like not putting omega on the dial as the picture show , but any how hear is a before and after picture of what I am hopefully going to achieve

From pulsar to omega homage
So I have been reading a internet site about a guy who has turned a pulsar nx01 into a omega x33 homage , after reading the article I thought why not I will give it a go and after a length search I have just bought 2 wàtches a pulsar nx01 and a storm watch in a mixed lot ,

Re: From pulsar to omega homage
That is quite an unusual mod I have never seen anything like it before .
I have been tempted by those Pulsar in the past they are a good looking watch.
I look forward to reading how you get on with the mod .... Talking of mods though I thought you was finished with with all this tinkering .... I knew temptation would call you back

yep , you can see it stuck in, it needs a strip down, clean and a blob of silicon grease

Re: From pulsar to omega homage
My gym watch (very dusty from lack of wear ) is a neg display and sometimes rather difficult to read the time

Re: From pulsar to omega homage
Yep they are a little hard to read but getting rid of the negative filter will make it into a possitive display again

Re: From pulsar to omega homage
So after a few attempt I have cut a new polarized filter and turned it to give a positive display finish , the polarized filter was purchased from eBay and is for a iPhone screen for £1.99 and I've only used a small bit , I havnt placed the second hand yet as I need it to be red at the end also the bezel needs some red at the 12 marker , but still a working process so hear it is mid mod

Re: From pulsar to omega homage
How are you going to do the red in the bezel ? When I painted my monster insert I used nail varnish and then when it had set I wiped over the top with nail varnish remover on a cloth and it removed the varnish on the insert but left it in place in the markers.
