I have been waiting on this one for almost 2months... time and tide have conspired to keep us apart, but this Wednesday it should be on my wrist bounce

    Incoming Seiko Sc1

One of the first 6139 6012's in the rarer champagne coloured dial Cool. This is a one owner watch and has never been anything but serviced... No polishing or buffing Exclamation Exclamation

I know the seller and having actually had this watch in my hands can confirm the above bounce bounce ..... Time to go bracelet hunting. Arrow

Beautiful looking watch and totally agree that it would suit a bracelet. Great that you also know the history of the watch Smile

The price was fair for an unmolested one, This watch was bought new for his son to travel Asia with in the 70's. It's all original other than the strap

Same guy I got the Tudor from.

I don't have a single chrono at the moment... and that really doesn't bother me, but I like this model because it bridges between chrono and non chrono. And it has some Omega undertones.

It's large by vintage standards... 40mm

The bracelet is okay but those are large lugs and the bracelet is to slimline for it. If you look at the 1st two pic's you can see how much lug there is.

Collecting watches in person can be so much fun...... take getting this Seiko

"Your late" he said as I sat down. I shrugged. "Where you been?" I ignored the question. "I don't got all day you know." He leaned forward and out of the shadow. "Marty said you was punctual like, I got places to be you know," He stabbed a dirty finger on the table top as if to make a point. "You'd better got the money." I pulled a crumpled envelope from my jacket pocket and placed it on my side of the table. "It all there.... It better be all there." He reached for the envelope. I let him take it. He counts the money then pockets the envelope. "Maybe you ain't so bad.... Marty said you ain't so bad." I shrugged. He took a small box from his grimy coat pocket and pushed it across the table. "Marty says you owe him, said that was a tough'n to find" I pocket the box.

Doesn't that sound more fun than " I gave a low ball offer on ebay, now I'm waiting for the postman"

I found Marty to be fairly reasonable it is his brother Dave that I had problems with . Dave took "Part Payments" from me the first part was the Right leg
