    as a point of interest, the little brass bit is a contact for trggering the dive mode, when the watch gets wet the water creates a circuit between the case and the brass triggering the mode Wink

    they were popualr with tourists in Asia, they were bought for diving trips then just abused, a lot of the ones on ebay are asian ones that have been "restored" Wink oh.. and of course ....the odd fake Smile

    Well didn't buy it on eBay but bought it years ago from a dealer. Hopefully that's a positive sign and the watch is genuine. Shocked

    yours is genuine alright, you can tell just from the dial with the raised lume, the fake ones are flat and glow like a dead glow worm
