Re: thursday 29th september
Nice looking watch Bruce.
It's an Air Ministry, circa 1944, 6B/159 Omega with calibre 30T2SC movement for me today.

Yeah that's funny, they don't have anything to do with Breitling in my opinion. I'd probably change my mind if I ever put it for sale on eBay though!!!

Brietling were bought by Secura as they had financial issues, but there was no design or manufacturing input from Secura......EVER !..........the Breitling DNA remains clean as does Secura's,, just an unscrupulous eBay seller started it years ago.

Re: thursday 29th september
Luckily I didn't pay a Breitling price. Got to admit I love the watch though. I only bought this because I couldn't find one with a blue dial at a decent price, which is what I really wanted. Then I bought one with a blue dial not long later. Now I have them both I prefer the red. I like the way the colour gets lighter towards the center of the face.

i had a friend at school who had a Secura like yours, we were in Metal work and he had scratched the crystal so he decided to polish it on a powered dolly, he only touched it once and lost the plastic crystal and half the dial ........i did my best not to laugh
