Marlboro cornel 17 Jewel

As you do when browsing on the Internet (eBay) lol , I came across this watch and when I saw it it reminded me of the Marlboro man cigarette advert with the cowboy , I stuck a cheeky little bid in a 4 hours later it's was won by me (woop woop )

i do like watches that are different and as I only have one mechanical wind up this one should fit in nicely

Cronel (Marlboro)

17 Jewel wind up movement EB8800

34mm case and 38mm with the crown

42 MM top to bottom

20mm lugs

The strap is 21mm and tapers down to 11mm

The strap has a letter b on unsure if it's the one for the watch or not

First impression I like it light on the wrist and keeping good time , it's get away from the normal black or white dials blue with the red writing makes it stand out abit , you can still get movement for the watch via Internet searches so this make it very serviceable and repairable for the future ,

I thought it was a Russian Vostok bracelet as they have a B on it but nope not vostok/boctok.

Firstly, great watch, very unusual too. I think John may have a point about the strap being a Boctok. I had a bit of a look for Marlboro watches, not a single one came on a steel bracelet.

Difference is though on Andy's bracelet the B has a sheild around it and the Boctok doesn't

Yep I am with you guys I even thought at one point could it be breitling but no sign of any thing simlier it could be beuchat ?

no clue about the bracelet but like the watch, i assume its an advertising piece? very unusual regardless
