    Today is Mrs L's birthday. The BIG one. She's less happy than usual about that !

    Unfortunately it's fallen on the same day that my eldest daughter has to have a (second) hip operation. Guess where we're spending the day ?  So here I am, up at stupid o'clock to get daughter up so she can have something light to eat as she can't have anything after 5am.

    Today I shall be wearing these two birth year watches.

    Thanks for all the best wishes for Mrs L and daughter. After waiting for nearly 5 hrs she's finally gone down to theatre. Should be out in about an hour.
