I'm not 100% sure about the case finish, that is the same as when I bought it, which admittedly was 2nd hand off someone who does mods, you're right about the bezel though. I changed it this morning before driving to work.

The plain chromed bezel on your watch looks great , it really changes the appearance to become a smart office watch

I decided to dig out some of my collection to take photos for the first day of the forum and after I was finished I decided to put this on my wrist . My modified seiko 007 now named the Seiko Squiggle

Cheers John. I didn't put it on to achieve anything in particular though it works well. In fact I was lamenting the fact my favourite Vostok is broken so took the bezel off and put it on this Amphibia. For anyone who hasn't changed a Vostok bezel before, I used no tools and it took less than a minute; it's very easy to do which is I guess the attraction to Vostoks.

I got the hands from Bruce he actually did all the work on the watch , changed Dial and hands and put a Sapphire crystal in for me
