trifoglio Wàtches

Hi guys I would be interested in your opinions on the brand trifoglio watches , the web site sell a few watches but previous models include some nice divers for eg the sette Mari divers any thoughts would be great

they dont float my boat...sorry any newish brand that start off with the usual: " an inspiration rooted in global exploration" nonsense looses me right away, they dont need to do this as we all know they are making watches to make money...no pretence needed IHHO
also the aluminium case puts me off, its just cheap even if it is marine grade, that just means its got an anodised outer surface, but will still scratch easily and oxidise, the movement is a swiss variation of the Miyota 8215, it all smacks of BS with the purpose of deceiving, the ceramic coating worries me a bit as real ceramic coating would need temperatures above the melting point of aluminium so is probably a ceracoat type coating...sprayed on and gently heated to cure.
i looked at Trifoglio when they first appeared and they didnt impress me then and they still dont, if you look at what they are supposedly offering then compare it to the selling prices, the numbers dont stack up IE far too cheap for such a high quality, high tech time piece all in my opinion of course.
so if you haven't got my thoughts...........i dont like them

Very respected opinion received Bruce many thanks it's hard some time to see pass the pictures for me but when put into contence that I understand it make it a lot easier cheers

to be fair Andy we all get taken in by pretty pictures, that is what they are for after all
