    Helm Khuraburi Empty Helm Khuraburi

Post by SeikoJohn Tue Aug 14 2018, 12:28

I saw the Helm Khuraburi a few month back and liked them straight away so I decided that I wanted one in my collection and started to save up my pocket money ( yes I am 46 Very Happy  )

The Helm Khuraburi name comes from a small coastal town in southern Thailand that's just a boat ride away from the Surin Islands and some of the best diving in the Andaman Sea . It has a 316L stainless steel case and 22mm solid link bracelet with screw in pins , Seiko NH38 movement , Sapphire crystal and has a 300m depth rating . This is a chunky one weighing in at 225 grams , case is 45mm with crown , 49mm lug to lug and 16mm height.

You will notice that this does not have a date window and there fore they have been able to produce two styles , one with crown at 4 oclock and one with crown at 10 oclock . This one as you can see from the photos is a 10 oclock crown .

    Now for the photos

Wow, that’s a fabulous looking watch and well worth saving the pocket money for. Very Happy

I love the design and the bezel, hands and hour markers are all in perfect proportion. The case back is beautifully engraved and just adds to the look of quality and substance.

At 225 grammes it is heavier than most of my pocket never mind wristwatches. It doesn’t however look over sized on your wrist, just very smart and eye catching.

You must be thrilled with it and it is a great addition to your collection. Thank you for sharing, I have really enjoyed your pictures and seeing a watch I previously hadn’t been aware of before. Very Happy

Thankyou for the complimants on the Helm David but I have sold it already lol! Sold within 4 hours of owning it .

It is a great watch a fantastic build quality , a proper bang for your buck watch but something about it I just do not like and for the life of me I can not find what it is I do not like.

I thought best to sell to a good home rather than keep it and try to bond with it knowing fine well it would spend more time in my watch box rather than on the wrist.

I just need to find myself something else now to replace it with , I am thinking possibly an Orient M Force .
