How many of us have watches that we do not wear ? I have a few

Various reason why I do not wear them too small , too delicate , etc but for whatever reason I do not wear them I would never part with them I know that sounds weird I mean why not get rid if I do not wear them but no I just could not do it .

So who else owns a watch or two they do not wear but will not part with

Jesus, not sure where I would start on this one! I have a lot (may be 50+) I don't wear. I've been a bit better this year and have been getting more out for a week at a time though I have so many it not possible to wear them all regularly. I'll take pics when I get a chance

Sadly, there are a lot that don't get worn. Crying or Very sad

After collecting watches & other things for over 40 years they have accumulated.

I've never sold any though once traded a pocket watch for a wrist watch. That deal triggered an interest in wrist watches as well as pocket watches.

Some people have said that having more watches that you can regularly wear makes you more of a hoarder or gatherer than a collector.

I never really agreed with that as any type of collecting is the enjoyment of what you have rather than practicalities.

That said there is a middle road & being able to evolve a collection by selling / trading, if you can, does seem sensible. Very Happy
