I was thinking it was a good opertunity to wear the yellow fellow as well as the pocket watch
another good thing is the wedding is in a hotel not too far from where we live but as a treat to ourselves we have booked in to stop overnight so I can take another watch to wear when we go for our full english breakfast next day

Re: Wedding attire etiquette
Go for both why not then if anyone's asked why you have both you have a great excuse to talk about watches

I would go for both too. Taking a pocket watch out to check the time is ok but sometimes it's handy to be able to glance at a wrist watch as well.

I think I will probably end up going for both after all if something is to be done it must be done with style

you could always set the pocket watch to New York time and say you need to keep up with the Stock exchange

Re: Wedding attire etiquette
For what it's worth, I'd probably go with both. Perhaps get one on each wrist
