Wedding attire etiquette

on Sun Oct 01 2017, 15:42
We have a wedding we are going to in 2 weeks time shoes are polished trousers ready along with shirt and dicky bow and also a waistcoat . Here is the problem I have .. I wish to wear a pocket watch in my waistcoat now do I also wear a watch or do I just wear the pocket watch .

Off to ebay now as I need to buy a chain for the pocket watch

I was thinking it was a good opertunity to wear the yellow fellow as well as the pocket watch

another good thing is the wedding is in a hotel not too far from where we live but as a treat to ourselves we have booked in to stop overnight so I can take another watch to wear when we go for our full english breakfast next day Very Happy

Go for both why not then if anyone's asked why you have both you have a great excuse to talk about watches bounce

I would go for both too. Taking a pocket watch out to check the time is ok but sometimes it's handy to be able to glance at a wrist watch as well. Very Happy

you could always set the pocket watch to New York time and say you need to keep up with the Stock exchange Cool
