Wtf brain melting lol

So as some are aware about a year and a half I lost my job that I had be loyal two after 18 years,  I managed to get a new job and fast forward a year and a half and it's feels right to move on to another job staying in the same field just with a different company ,

So two weeks ago I emailed a company to see if they had any positions and the next day they rang me to arrange a interview last Friday , so I attended and they offered me a position straight away as they felt I would fit in very well with their company , that evening I looked at my emails and the conformation of the job was with me happy days

On the Monday I went to work and handed in my notice , as to my supprise my manager offered me a great package to stay but I felt it was time to move on and declined , an hour later my manger called me in and made me a offer I could no refuse , so I contacted the new company and made a difficult phone call but the manger totally understood and said don't burn are bridges if it doesn't work out please ring him ,

Well this is were it gets brain melting with in ten minutes I reserved a phone call from the other company saying that they felt that I would regret it if I stayed and they really want me onboard how about we give you xxx amount and the chance to buy a weeks holiday extra if I want , to buy a car at cost price if I need too and a thank you dinner after 1 years service for me and the wife plus a bonus system .

Well it's a no brainer so I told my employers that I will defiantly be leaving and much to my supprise they didn't match the perks but offered a lot more money , brain freeze what do I do for crying out load I am only a vehicle mechanic for god sake

Well after a lot of thinking was it about the money no I am still leaving , to me it's about the trust of the new employer and progressing I could gain , I leave on the 22nd of July and start my new job I have never had two company battle over me it's a nice feeling to start off with then the stress is terrible

Just thought I would empty my head as its totally fried and I need a wiskey lol

And what's this got to do with watches I have treated myself to a aramar arctic marine

Cheers buddy It must be my attitude toward the work I do I always maintain in the car mechanic business I work 50% for the employer and 50% toward the customer but it's not the good looks that for sure lol

Good to be sought after. In fairness to you and Bruce, I ditched my car back in February after both of your advices and I'm pleased I did!

Just to bring this Upto date on Friday it was my last day at my old place and my manger called me in and sat me down and said what can I do to make you stay this being the 5 meeting in a month with offers being put on the table , I chanced my luck as I had nothing to loose and said I wanted a certain position with in the company and I would stay , to my supprise my manger said yes straight away yes so I've ended up staying

What a whirle wind month and feeling very happy and blessed

Sounds as though have has a roller coaster of a month matey great news that you got what you wanted in the end

A absolute roller coaster John I would of been happy working at either but in the end the job progression swung it for me it mean in the long run I may be in a shirt and get to wear my watches to work lol

Hi john most were aware I was staying but some looked a bit weird at me and said I though you were leaving lol

The first day was good thanks buddy it's all official and i enjoyed it
