[quote="domecurb"]a small box of vintage or a box of small vintage
Very nice, I can't see all the watches but think I recognise the Citizen with the led at the 12 position and your Sportline watch.
They're all lovely watches & I can see you getting progressively hooked onto vintage watches. Resistance is futile, well according to the Borg anyway.

A very nice little collection . If it was me I would replace the Sportline with the Cosmotron only because from looks alone it stands out where as the rest of the collection seem to blend in together .

if i bought storage boxs for all my watches i would need another house you can cram a lot of watches into cardboard boxes wrapped in newspaper, but as soon as i try to organise them i run out of space very quickly one day i may just sell the lot as a job lot on eBay

Re: FENCE POST STUDIO
Aragon Evo Divemaster 45mm, 200m WR, NH35 movement, screw down crown, Lumed and dished bezel, solid 22mm bracelet and solid end links, display back.
this is a really good quality watch, i have had Seiko's at 3 times the price not as good
the attention to detail at this price point is is extraordinary as was the delivery.............2 days Florida USA to Biggar Scotland the packing was excellent as well consisting of a padded FEDEX bag, cardboard box with padding round the proper watch box inside..
this has blown me away, it has some Android DNA which is inevitable given its designed by the same guy
if interested i wouldn't hang about at this price

Oooo I like that especially the fine detailing such as red seconhand matches red box around date window and red detailing on the crown.
It certainly looks spot on for the money. I may be tempted

Re: FENCE POST STUDIO
Very nice & I see they come in a range of colours including one with an abalone dial which is certainly different. My only reservation is the depth of the watch and how high it sits on the wrist. That's probably due to me being more used to vintage watch sizes. Seems to be a great buy for the money along with whatever duty charges are involved. Definitely worth considering.

no duty whatsoever as its under £138, it could have had VAT added but with fedex it sailed right through ......£86 all in
its a very nicely shaped case so doesn't sit too high and is very comfortable

Thanks for that. I always assumed everything from outwith the EU attracted all kinds of duties / taxes & didn't know about the £138 limit.
It does seem fantastic value for money with a myriad range of colour and design.

just remember 50mm is huge and you still have the crown that adds width

Funny that just finished watching a couple of his videos, only thing I could find now to ask was what the opinion of the movements is from you all, in other watches they sell Seiko movements are mentioned but not with the evo

Re: FENCE POST STUDIO
todays new arrival
Pulsar 7S26-X004 Divers, 45mm including the crown guards, screw down crown, 200M WR, drilled lugs, 22mm lug width.
this is every bit as good as the Seiko SKX007 and maybe even a little better if only for the more interesting case design....to be honest i prefer it
the X004 is quite a rare watch and don't come up for sale very often so i am chuffed as i have been looking and missing out on some for a while now.
there is also the plus that it can me modded, all Seiko parts gen or after market fit

How do you get it to around the £89 mark I can never get it cheaper than around £97, they also have a deal of the day https://www.aragonwatch.com/product_p/a183bei.htm delivered to the uk for £57

Re: FENCE POST STUDIO
Thanks for that, anyone have a side on wrist shot I'm just worried that it sits a bit high ( don't know the correct name) or compare it to an 007 if you have one ( as I have just got mine)

they do sit quite high so its not just you i have really big wrists and i have the same issue, its just the design, the 007 will sit lower with a bracelet or a softer strap and i have found them to be one of the comfiest watch to wear

Thanks I'm still tempted by one of these watches I think I will have a play with my fake which is 15.5mm and compare it to the evo which is 17mm

It sits relatively high though that's not bothered me much. It's a great watch and has barely left my wrist since I've had it. In fact it's so good, I've had little interest in wearing anything else since this arrived. Aragon have a Mega sale on today, they have some Quartz divers for $53 if anyone's hair interested.
