I must admit I would like to change the dial , I did read about removing the word Invicta and the wings but it leaves 4 unsightly holes on the dial .

you really need to think what you would like to do to it then work out if its possible IE will it take an auto movement and is it worth the hassle

Re: Think I found my next purchase
1st plan is to restore it as is with quartz movement and wear it for a while , then I will see if I can keep movement and hands but change/replace the dial. If I cant I will just leave it as is

Re: Think I found my next purchase
cousins are a pain to search
here you go scroll down, they are a mixture of quartz and mechanical, all the mechanical dials can take any modern seiko auto IE NH36 etc
