Dial and Handset change to Seiko Monster

I had some spare time on my hands today so decided to have a little play about . I bought some Dials and hands in a sale from Dagaz (Hong Kong) last year and have already used some of them but I put a set of hands and dial to one side with a specific mod in mind.

This is the watch I wanted to alter the appearance of my Seiko Monstermash  



with careful and steady hands I removed the old dial and handset and replaced with new and then removed the green nail varnish from the bezel and replaced it with black and here we have my new Seiko Monster which I still need to think of a name for it

well done now that is a good looking watch and i like the red tip of the second hand the whole thing works really well...as for a name..........its a monster so how about the dark beast ?

Hmm......i think i need to get me another monster

The Dark Beast sounds ok but still open to other suggestions . I really enjoyed taking my time with this and I am really happy with the outcome . Yup you need a monster in your collection

The dark shadow monster , that look good buddy great mod and a bargain mod set you got from dagaz

I like the idea of Dark Shadow monster or DSM for short

That's quite a transformation, well done.

You must have very steady hands, the black numbers and markers are spot on and very sharp. The hands are perfect against the black dial and I love the sweep second hand with the red tip, a very nice touch.

I'm not very good with names but thought Dark Lord, Dark Knight of The Impaler ( thinking of the red tip). Hopefully there will be other suggestions forth coming.

You've had a great day with your work on this one and your new arrival in the post today. It's going to get very difficult deciding which one to wear but what a nice dilemma to have.

Decided I wasnt entirely happy with the hands so had another changeover today . I had a better secondhand and decided to go for a shorter hour hand as is more becoming to the Monster . I am happy now

that is an improvement, well done......i like the hour hand

I think it suits the watch more than the other hands

That looks good, the hour / minute hands go well with the hour markers & I really like the hour hand. Did quite like the original sweep second hand though, just because it was a bit different.

Changed the strap for a more comfy one today what a difference it makes

About time I updated this , as you can see it has had numerous face changes







Current dial seems quite appropriate as it was made by a company called Monsterwatches
