    Holiday watches Empty Holiday watches

Post by Elwood Tue Aug 15 2017, 12:48

Apologies for going missing in action this month. I had been working 12hour days for a while, then had to contend with a wedding in Yorkshire, a funeral in Wales and have been on holiday in a forest in Southern Ireland. Currently I'm in Northern Ireland near the Mourne mountains. I thought long and hard over which two watches to take away. I opted for a Citizen Skyhawk. I always like to take this travelling because of its accuracy and reliability, both of which can be crucial when getting flights and ferries etc. The other watch I've taken is a Vostok Amphibia. It's smart enough to be dressy, waterproof which is essential in Ireland, and cheap enough to not stress about damaging or losing. As soon as the Vostok goes on, I feel like I'm in real holiday mood. What are your holiday watches, any comments on my selection are welcome?

Always a decision to be made Very Happy
Decided to sort me a holiday watch, SKX007, strapcode bracelet and red bezel.
It looks like a good place to start.

Daz, that's a great looking watch, I'm a complete sucker for a splash of red. If I owned a SKX007, I would a) take it with me and b) have a red bezel. I must scratch that itch...
