Help pick a strap for my conquest Empty Help pick a strap for my conquest

Post by Robti Fri Jun 09 2017, 11:47

Hi there doesn't seem to be a strap section so I posted here as its to do with my longines conquest, so I bought the watch and discovered that the strap is too short so I am looking for a dark brown with cream stitching croc/ gator with deployment, unless I can reuse the longines deployment.

So any pointers on where to buy ?

    Thanks

ebay has to be the answer, do a search for extra long in the size and style you want and there are thousands
i found this with a quick look:

if you get the right dimensions IE the correct width where the strap fixes to the deployment then there is no reason why the deployment wont fit, a lot of straps do taper from the lug width down to the buckles so that is something to watch.
personaly i would avoid the big names like Hirsh etc as i really dont see how a little watch strap can be worth £50 or £60  or more Shocked   its just a little bit of [ usualy ] waste leather Wink  hope that helps a little

i think if you are after genuine aligator or croc then they will be expensive, but maybe i am not the one to advise as although i have plenty of watches on leather i dont wear leather straps, i have bought some very good straps off ebay though
