Seiko SNK807

Post by SeikoJohn on Sat Oct 01 2016, 13:01

My wife bought me this watch last Christmas the Seiko SNK807 is part of the Seiko 5 Automatic collection. It has a 7s26 auto movement with a display back case , dont ask me why as I dont know the answer but I really like a display case window on a watch .
The 807 is rather on the small size being 37mm but it is really light on the wrist and the strap is comfy

I got a bit carried away with a photo editor for this photo

I will take one or two more photos later in the week

Nice watch. I think the size is about right in my opinion as many modern watches are on the large size. It's a nice dial and I prefer Seikos with the crown at the 4 o'clock position. Don't know why! The one thing that really floats my boat though is the hands. I always love a watch where the tip of second hand is red, must be one of those guilty pleasures. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Love the dial configuration & the long sweep second hand. As I like vintage watches the 37mm would be fine size wise for me albeit small by modern day standards. Looks good on your wrist & a great watch to get as a Christmas present. Very Happy

Any chance you can get your wife to talk to mine about buying me a watch? Would be a good result.
