which one though

The blue and silver inset may work well on the watch. If it's not too tricky swapping the inserts around it would probably be worthwhile trying them all to see which one you like the best. Very Happy

Not just changing the bezel insert but changing the dial and hands as well . Very Happy

I am just not 100% happy with the sterile dial which is why I am changing everything

I'm sure if I managed to swap a dial, hands etc I wouldn't change it again. Rolling Eyes

The reason simply being I would be too scared to push my luck doing it a second time. Shocked Embarassed

It's just my opinion though I love the sterile dial on this watch. It'll be goodnight to see how it looks with the silver and blue bezel insert

I have decided rather than buy the blue. Ezel insert and new dial to just buy the insert for now and change the hands . I am hoping that this simple alteration could change the appearance sufficient for my liking . If not I will then order a different dial.

All done and I decided to go with a plain silver secondhand only because I did not really have a white one that suited it. I like it ...... for now anyway

I think the red was missing a tail as for the seiko second hand I don't know if I would like the circle on the tail, perhaps just a plain white with a tail, but don't listen to me till I know what I am talking about

Yup the red secondhand was too short and did not look right at all . I think the seiko one may look good as the circle on the tail will match the markers on the dial ..... or at least that is what I am hoping for Very Happy

I think the full set of the Seiko hands would work quite well.

I presume it's not possible to either dip or paint the latest second hand you have fitted with some luminous material?

Nice outcome, can I ask a couple of questions, is it just the angle of the photos or doesn't the date window sit equally between the 4 & 5, also did you ever think about a black with white date ?
Thanks

I am finally finished with the Invicta as I am really happy with the outcome . I damaged the movement last time I tinkered with this watch and broke the tube on the seconhand and it stuck on the pinion . Anyway I had some time to myself today so thought I would give it a try see if I could remove it and hey presto I succeeded . I bought some Seiko urchin hands from Cousins and on they went tonight I was not sure if they would give the look I was intending for but I will say I am extremely happy with the outcome . here we have it the Spork/sinn/urchin/Invicta

That's very smart. and well done managing to remove the collar of the second hand from the pinion. That must have taken steady hands as the pinion is so fragile.
