So I've been into watches in a big(ish) way for about 4 years now. One of the first things I did was invest in a cheap set of tools from eBay. You probably know the sort of thing, link extractor, caseback remover, bracelet tool, screwdrivers etc. £15. Great value indeed, and I've been using them ever since. I have persevered, despite some clear quality issues (pointy bits breaking off, screws coming undone etc), not wanting to shell out for the MUCH more expensive kit that is the alternative.
Anyway, I had a bit of Christmas cash left over, so invested in a Bergeon 6767-F bracelet tool. Basically a steel stick with prongs at one end, and a pointy but at the other. Now it's arrived, I am delighted- the thing itself is so well made that it's lovely to look at and use. And it makes an absolute breeze of even my trickiest straps and bracelets. The ends are even changeable/ replaceable!
Definitely worth the investment, which was about £14 from eBay!
