I offloaded my SMP recently, as I just fancied a change. Now I wear a fitbit on my other wrist, I am much more happy to wear a no-date watch, and certain avenues opened to me.

A Tudor Heritage Black Bay in the original red came up, and I grabbed it. Never had a Tudor before, and I love the idea of near Rolex quality without the price or notoriety. I like the size (tad bigger than a sub, close to the SMP actually), and the look is great. Retro without being a clone of something old, and with its own identity.

First impressions are very good. It wears comfortably, and the size is spot on for me. The burgundy bezel and crown ring, with the gold accents and dark brown dial lend an overall warmth to the watch, which is very pleasing. Quality is excellent as you would expect. The bezel clicks with a snapping sound that is very reminiscent of an old typewriter! The ETA inside is in its top grade, so should be reliable and longlasting. The bracelet is again high quality, equalling he best I've had.

    Very happy, all told.

    Pics to follow...

I've never actually seen one of these watches in the flesh so to speak but they look amazing. New arrival- first experience of Tudor 3377044411

You did really well deciding to part with one watch to move onto a different one to experience and enjoy which I am sure you will for a long time. Very Happy

When I look at those pictures, I'm just feeling envious. It's cosmetically the most appealing watch out there in my opinion.

Its a beauty I really like it especially the little red detail next to the crown where the stem goes into the case ( probably has a name but I do not know it)
