My 2 year old is prone to insisting on wearing my watch and she took it off him then end up wearing it this morning. I'm not sure why though there's something attractive about the Mrs putting my watch on. Here's a picture of the watch in question albeit on my wrist. Does your partner ever borrow a watch, and does it look good on them?

my wife hates all my watches or at least has no interest, but she is currently wearing this rather nice Diver which i got as a NOS non runner a few months back and i think it suits her
generic image
i never got to offer it to her .......she saw it then it was gone
on a similar theme, my Aunt [who is considerably younger than me, i cant get my head around that ]
is Asian Indian and probably the most beautiful woman i have ever seen, she was born and is based in India and also very wealthy.....she wears a Mans 18k Rolex sub loosely on her left wrist and i have to say i think its a very sexy look........although it may not be just the Rolex

My wife likes some of my watches but mostly thinks they all look the same & has never worn any. She only uses one of these sports watches which measures heart rate etc.

Yep I nearly bought the mans version but I just could not justify it as I needed funds for a car repair and the Cartier roadster I think I like better

The Cartier Roadster you have is one the most beautiful watches I've seen. I don't think you would regret not having any other watch when you have that one to wear and enjoy.

Yeah to be fair, I'd consider trading the wife for a Roadster if the opportunity arose

Re: What does your wife look good in?
Wife tends to not wear watches at all, but favours Skagens when she does. Mostly my collection is of no interest to her (they all look the same!).
The only of mine she has worn was a lovely blue RLT 17 that I had a while- she loved that!

That Cartier Roadster is really very nice indeed. She'd look good in that if I had one!

Now it takes the biscuit. She took the watch off yesterday and has no idea where she put it. The two year old does better than that!

Re: What does your wife look good in?
Thats the advantage we have in both being incredibly lazy, neither of us would put the effort into putting it about. The watch turned up after a couple of days, face down on a window sill. Argh!, luckily no scratches.Pip wrote:Perhaps she gave it to her other fella...!Elwood wrote:Now it takes the biscuit. She took the watch off yesterday and has no idea where she put it. Re: What does your wife look good in?
My wife has three watches, one Boccia that she wears most of the time, an Accurist I bought for her birthday, which she wears occasionally and this one (the only "proper one IMO)
She won't wear it unless I set it for her as she says it's too much hassle. Women ! I ask you
