Swatch Group shoots own foot

on Fri Oct 28 2016, 20:32
https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/swatch-group-issues-statement-warning-of-massive-price-hikes-for-supplied-movements

the swatch group have, IMO been trying to coerce and manipulate the world wide watch industry they have , i think , shot themselves in the foot.
i can see more and more makers going elsewhere for quality movements from existing suppliers like Miyota or Seiko who do incredible value for money workings, there is also China......they are also more than capable of matching Swiss quality for a fraction of the price
i cant understand what they are thinking with this move, but then..........who am i ? lol!
