My latest quartz divers

Post by SeikoJohn on Fri Mar 30 2018, 18:48

I have become very fond of the quartz diver watches so much so that I started a little collection of them

This is the first one that I bought and the one that started this little collection off

A Cressi 500m it originally came on a rubber strap but I am not a fan so quickly changed over to a bracelet

Next is an usual one that I had not heard of before and to be honest I have not seen another (apart from a google image search )

Kirby Morgan 200m , this one came as head only so obvious choice for me was to again put it onto a bracelet , the bezel insert is a little scratched but that does not really bother me it gives the watch a little "soul"

Finally a friend from another forum pointed this one out to me for sale on Cash Converters website , the price was IMO a little on the high side with it being preowned so I sent them an offer which to my surprise they accepted. An Apeks 1000m again this watch has a similar casing to the Cressi and this is what attracts me to them I also like the crown being at 4 o'clock.

This one is not a quartz but I wanted to show that the casings are also used in Automatic watches . This is the Tauchmeister T0251 mil which runs the 21 jewel Miyota 8245.

All very impressive looking watches and a nice collection.
Love the strong lume and think they all really suit being on a bracelet rather than a strap. The mesh strap is my favourite but couldn’t pick a favourite amongst the watches as I really like them all.

If you decide to add any more to the collection it would be great to see some pictures. Very Happy

Recieved a pm from Domecurb earlier to a link to an Apeks on ebay , well it would have been rude not to put in a bid and well yup I won. Apeks 200m will be added to the collection when mr postman delivers it.
