    another new incoming
    Seiko  SSC015P1 Solar Divers Chronograph

this was a bargain i couldn't pass up as it was less than half price in a sale from Creation watches
this is a lovely watch which for a chronograph is a step up quality wise from Seiko's usual "bread and butter" chronograph range which IMO tend to be a bit cheap and nasty certainly since the days of the 7t32 range of chrono's

    Cal.V175 Solar Quartz Movement

    - 200 Meters / 656 Feet / 20 ATM Water Resistant

    - 44mm Case Diameter

    - Mineral Crystal

    - Screwdown Crown

    - Screwdown Chronograph Pushers

    - 200m Water Resistance
the lume is the usual blinding Seiko standard

if am honest i was a bit underwhelmed when it arrived probably mostly due to  the other watches that have arrived recently, but to be fair the Seiko is an honest watch not trying to be more than what it is which is a good quality, good looking IMO, fairly priced  Solar powered chronograph dive watch

You have certainly got the new year of to a great start with your new Watches. SEIKO SSC015P1 3377044411

This one, to my rather philistine eyes, looks very similar to  all the other Seiko Diver Watches. That said I love the hour and minute hands which boldly stand out from a rather busy dial with the chronograph sub dials.

I am always impressed with solar power Watches so a Seiko Diver with a strong lume would definitely be a temptation. Very Happy

Very nice, it’s a Seiko it’s got to be in my eyes, only point I could bring up is the chapter ring being divided into sub minutes I would have preferred just to have it marked in minutes, sorry if I have the wrong terminology, also screw down push buttons how do they work do you have to unscrew like a crown then push them ?

being a divers watch you are not really meant to use the chronograph while submerged, the buttons unscrew till the meet a "stop" then the watch functions like any other chrono
with the chapter ring, its set in seconds/minutes and 5th of a second as the chronograph center seconds measures in 5th of seconds
